PIERRE VERVLOESEM - HOME MADE

Two years ago, the Off Records label started re-releasing Pierre Vervloesem's albums. An excellent idea, as most (if not all) of Pierre's albums have been out of print for quite some years.
Originally released in 1994 on the Carbon 7 label, "Home Made" has been remastered and augmented, including three bonus tracks.
I'm one of those lucky bastards that has the original album, but I recently downloaded this album anyway. It's a superb album. Required listening for melomaniacs and guitar aficionados.
I hear a lot of Zappa-influences, but I imagine that Pierre has listened closely to Adrian Belew as well. Above all, however, it sounds like Pierre Vervloesem.

I'm pretty sure that some of you will be glad to hear that "Home Made" includes '4/12/1993', a one-minute-of-silence tribute to Frank Zappa.
Bonus tracks 'Zozorro (live)', 'Bon Courage (live)' and 'Phillip (demo)' are a nice addition to the lot.

Highly recommended.
